These photographs are the black and white versions from a documentary book, hodge.
Hodge is a man called Douglass Hodgson, from Gateshead who is a regular drug user. This is the photographic story of a 45 year old man who has smoked cannabis all day everyday, for years. But he’s also my father. This book is a recording of his life and how he spends everyday now I’m living in Blackpool.
The book is a representation of how I see my dad and how his drug use has affected himself as well as the people around him who care the most
